I had been looking for a bigger bandsaw ever since an old Craftsman bandsaw that I had crapped out. Plus, it was so old it was difficult to find new parts for it. So I made the decision to buy another one. I researched a lot of different bandsaws but I was really impressed by the Grizzly G0555 The Ultimate 14″ Bandsaw reviews I read. Grizzly seems to be one of those companies you either love or hate. But many of the reviews of the G0555 I read were very favorable with very few negative reviews. Amazon.com alone had over 40 positive reviews. I also found a review on tool-deals.com which was very informative.
The Grizzly has a lot of upscale features that are generally found on bandsaws costing hundreds of dollars more. For example, the roller guides. Most bandsaws in this price range have cheap rollers mounted on bushings. Not the Grizzly G0555. It’s guide bushings roll on ball bearings!
The fence on this Grizzly bandsaw is also well thought of. Most reviews say it’s accurate and easily adjusted. Not something you can say about a lot of other fences in this price range. The general consensus on the Grizzly G0555 Ultimate 14″ bandsaw reviews I read were over whelmingly positive.
